2.0.6

Última

Fixed

  • License section: an active license whose key is not stored on this server (for example, one installed as a signed license file) showed only "Active" followed by an empty key field and "Activate". It now shows the license details with "License key: Not stored on this server (the license itself is active)", "Check now" when the server can check, and "Remove from this server"; the key form is folded under "Use another license key" while the license is active (Romanian included).

Changed

  • Author: MediaLab Works. Links to the old source repository now point to the product page on medialab.works.

Fixed

  • Unreadable colors on Nextcloud 34, where the plain error, warning and success colors became pale backgrounds: text, marks, badges and borders now use the matching text and element colors, in light and dark themes.
  • The full-page console (Apps → Sentinel) now sits on the normal content panel instead of directly on the Nextcloud background; the console inside Administration → Sentinel has the same padding as the sections around it.
  • Hovering or focusing a tab no longer hides which tab is active (console tabs, journal filters, inventory tabs).
  • Paths in the Files list no longer show the leading slash at the end.
  • Plural forms: counts such as "1 network", "1 minute ago" and their Romanian forms are now grammatical everywhere.
  • Every finding on the posture page (title, summary, reason and what to do), the watcher list, the journal, bell notifications and emails are now translated (Romanian included). Journal entries and notifications are shown in each reader's language; entries written by earlier versions stay as they were recorded.
  • The watch for files changing very fast (ransomware) silently did nothing on a server without a memory cache. Without a memory cache, the counters (including the repeated wrong second-factor counter) are now kept in a small database table; the posture page and a new setup check say so and recommend Redis.
  • The License section no longer reports "App files were changed" when the app is installed from source (the integrity check exists only in release builds).

Changed

  • The source archive available to customers (*-source.tar.gz) now also includes, in readable (non-obfuscated) form, all the code added or changed by the license protection, in a top-level protection-generated/ folder with a README.

Fixed

  • Removing or tampering with the license module no longer breaks the rest of Nextcloud. Previously, background jobs (cron) could stop for the whole server, the login page could fail and the settings returned an error 500. Now only Sentinel stops, cleanly.
  • The License section now shows an "app files were changed" state when the integrity check fails, instead of still reporting the license as active.

2.0.2

Reemplazada, no distribuida

Se muestra solo como registro: no está disponible para descargar ni como actualización.

  • Full AGPL-3.0 text and the source archive with every release. Replaced within hours by 2.0.3, which fixes the protected builds.

1.3.0

Versión gratuita anterior a las licencias
  • The fast-files watch no longer acts on speed alone: it acts on evidence from the files themselves (files no longer matching their name, ransom notes, mass renames).
  • Nextcloud's own server-side encryption is never counted as evidence.
  • Sentinel EDR, an optional process watcher (fanotify) that tells which program writes into the data directory.
  • Nextcloud 34 and PHP 8.4 or newer.
