A public sign-up page for your Plex server: the visitor signs in with their own Plex account, fills in their details, and the server is shared to them automatically or after approval.
Registration for Plex is a module of MediaLab for Plex. It gives your server a self-service sign-up page: visitors sign in with their Plex account (no passwords are stored with us), the plex.tv invitation is accepted by itself and the TV connects with the code from plex.tv/link, and the administrator can approve requests and manage the shared Plex friends.
What it does
- Public sign-up page for your Plex server, where the visitor signs in with their own Plex account — no passwords kept with us.
- Automatic or approved sharing: the server is shared to the visitor at once, or after your approval.
- The plex.tv invitation accepts itself and the TV connects with the code from plex.tv/link.
- Access and invitation codes with their own libraries.
- Anti-bot protection: Turnstile, proof-of-work, rate limits, network checks and duplicate detection.
- E-mails in Romanian and English, plus e-mail / Telegram notifications for you.
- Administration of requests and Plex friends from the MediaLab for Plex interface.
Requirements
- MediaLab for Plex (plex-core) installed and licensed.
- A Plex Media Server with the Plex account that owns it.
- Remote playback (outside the home network) of invited users requires Plex Pass on the owner account, or a Remote Watch Pass on each invited user's account (the Plex rule).
