0.1.6

Latest

Fixed (licensing): the license key field is always visible, so a new key can be activated even while the saved license still shows as active; a refused key no longer replaces the saved key and the page shows why; when the last check fails (for example a deleted or revoked license), the page and the log show a warning with the date until which the saved license keeps working; activation, manual checks and release are written to the log.

  • Fixed: automatic jobs failed at the "probe" step with a bare "ffprobe:" (the system ffprobe inherited the server's FFmpeg libraries and crashed).
  • ffmpeg / ffprobe errors now show the binary, the exit code and the cause.
  • A title that fails automatically 3 times within 7 days is no longer retried on its own; it can be started manually or with "Force".
  • DLL metadata: author and copyright MediaLab Works. Contains all the security fixes from the previous version.
  • Security: the subtitle language is accepted only as a valid code and files are written only next to the video (no "../"); the OpenAI-compatible server's key is sent only to the saved address; cost counts toward the monthly cap after every paid chunk; provider responses are size-limited; old work folders are cleaned up; provider keys are encrypted on disk (an old secrets.json is migrated automatically).
  • Security (licensing): logs sent to medialab.works or exported no longer contain tokens, passwords or keys (lines are selected by the plugin's logger and secrets are masked); unencrypted license-server replies are refused; update and rollback install only packages with a verified MediaLab signature (and a size limit); the log export no longer puts the token in the URL; the License page escapes text in attributes correctly.
  • Fixed: the active-license badge in the page header is readable on the dark theme (the text is no longer black).
  • Also includes the privacy changes: the payment QR code on the License page is generated locally, the payment link is no longer sent to a third-party QR service.

First release: AI subtitles for Jellyfin 12.2+ — translation of an existing subtitle with Claude or an OpenAI-compatible server (LM Studio, Ollama), transcription from the audio with Groq or OpenAI Whisper, job queue with cost caps per title and per month, ordered target languages, automatic generation and a nightly task, link with Rosub (AI only for what Rosub searched for and did not find).
